Genuinely adore this play. every character was so deeply flawed yet likable- felt like real people. Addressed ableism and gave great insight into life as a blind person. Confronted wanting independence yet also accepting help- and also how everyone experiences love and beauty so differently. The disabled representation made me so happy. Overall, highly recommend it.

Malakhow's dialogue is absolutely brilliant - I was so consistently endeared and entertained during my read. The three characters driving this story are so compelling and authentic you start to feel as if you really know them. Lots of humorous moments (still laughing about a Chris Evans joke in here) balanced well with the more poignant revelations embedded into this script, I highly recommend checking this out.

A masterclass in writing romance and fleshed-out characters. All three of them were jumping off the page.

A well sculpted three hander. I was invested in all the characters’ lives from the very beginning and I like where we leave off in the story. Reflection, growth and opportunity.

This is an amazing play with three characters who are an actor's playground to work with. Truly rich, thoughtful, inquisitive text that rabbit holes down into important and timely conversations around intersectionality.

Three damaged people stumble toward and away from connection in this gripping and moving play. Filled with witty, natural dialogue and depth of characterization, this play is both heart-rending for its content and exhilarating for its craft.

A truly incredible script. My favorite thing about it is how each of these three richly illustrated people are hyper-aware of their flaws (or, perhaps more accurately, their scars), which somehow makes it harder for them to change and find happiness. It's so important for LGBTQ+ stories to allow their characters to have complications, rather than just being ciphers for social change or vessels of reassurance for well-meaning theatergoers. Seeing Eye is a shining example of that. Also, it's funny as hell, and one of the best brother/sister narratives I've read in a long time. Produce it!

A seemingly light relationship drama that spirals into explorations of intersectionality and happiness. A fresh read and delightful journey.

Blinded in a terrible childhood accident, Jason sees life with a clarity and understanding few with vision do. His heightened sense of smell, taste, touch and hearing leads him into the arms of Robbie, who at first seems like a perfect and irresistible match...but Jason's journey is fraught with challenges that are both frightening and tender. Bravo on a beautifully written play! I look forward to following this playwright's career.

"Seeing Eye" is a moving and sincere play, with three rich and diverse characters. Nick Malakhow's deft writing will keep you captivated from start to finish.
