Ooof. I have always loved the story of Antigone but this adaptation hits different. Wow.

A moving read I'd love to see performed. Minnicino's use of the chorus is excellent - I especially enjoyed the speechwriter/staffer scenes.

This line from Tiresias will stick with me a long while: "how do you say what you know you are going to say / in a way that makes him say some thing different?"

An excellent adaptation of this great tale. Accessible and viscerally alive, a timeless and important story that's just as vital as when it originated. Well done!

This adaptation is so brilliant. Minnicino effectively takes what is timeless about the Greek tragedy and root so solidly in our present time. In my opinion, Antigone is always going to be a play that we will be able to learn from and I'm glad there are writers like Minnicino that think so too.
