Recommendations of All of the Everything

  • Becky McLaughlin: All of the Everything

This play is so beautiful and also completely devastating. When I saw it at the OOB Festival the staging was absolutely breathtaking, and I was left feeling like I had completely run the gambit of human emotion in less than twenty minutes. So important, relevant, and well written.

I saw this play at the 2019 Samuel French Off Off Broadway Festival and it is absolutely stunning onstage. Now, reading the play, I'm moved even further into the emotional arc, and into the brilliant craft that supports this heartbreaking narrative. It's such a vital, important piece, with lightness and warmth, and deep, spreading despair. A play that's both theatrically engaging and politically relevant. Highly recommend.

  • Rachel Teagle: All of the Everything

I saw this play as a staged reading, and can’t wait to see it fully realized. This play uses bold theatricality to capture a woman’s grief and a deep, horrific sense of injustice. A timely, necessary piece.

  • Rachel Bykowski: All of the Everything

Saw this tremendous play performed at the Br!nk New Play Fest in Milwaukee and was astounded by the theatricality created on stage. You follow the story of a couples' hopes as they dream about their future together in way that can only come to life on stage. All the little and big moments of a loving relationship are captured perfectly, then immediately shattered just as fast as they are created. Alayna Jacqueline created a truly beautiful, moving piece that demonstrates the meaning of Black Lives Matter.
