A fascinating discovery of the history of the people and the changing landscape of Antartica. Well done.

  • Playwrights Foundation: Three Antarcticas

Playwrights Foundation highly recommends THREE ANTARCTICAS, which excelled to the Finalist round (top 35) for the 44th annual Bay Area Playwrights Festival out of 755 plays. Our community of readers felt this play best represented the mission of our festival. This work engaged us, inspired us, moved us, and was an outstanding example of transformative storytelling. Our local Bay Area Literary Council commends THREE ANTARCTICAS as a compelling, relevant, cathartic new work which should be produced now. Congratulations! #BAPF2021

  • Brian James Polak: Three Antarcticas

Three Antarcticas is a spectacular read, as thoroughly engrossing as any novel. I felt immersed in the world of Antarctica, learning that its history is Climate Change’s history, yet the play isn’t a didactic docudrama. It’s character-driven and deeply emotional. Three Antarcticas is about love in many forms, the transcendent nature of art, and the direct impact human beings have on the climate. This is a highly theatrical that will be an incredibly entertaining production.

  • Sam Collier: Three Antarcticas

I adore this play. Brilliantly conceived and beautifully written, this is essential work for a world on the brink of climate catastrophe. In three separate but intertwined stories, we travel to the icy edge of the world, where explorers, scientists, and lovers seek something beyond their everyday lives. But Antarctica is changing too. I would love to see a production of this play!
