This was written specifically for a educational company and the required casting was 1 male and 1 female. However, please feel free to adapt the play to a single sex couple, if you feel that it is appropriate. It was written to be an exercise in stylized comedy, so feel free to shift it a bit, as needed, for educational purposes. The most important thing is that the students understand different ways to approach comedy.
