Recommendations of The Wish

  • Jean Koppen: The Wish

This is a FUN night of theatre, in a very dark way. The set up is intriguing, the characters dynamic, and it keeps you on the edge of your seat wondering how it's going to end. A great show for a mature audience.

  • Lisa Dellagiarino Feriend: The Wish

It's Barbara's birthday, and her daughter, Bonnie, has granted her wish! I was hooked from the moment Barbara and Lyla entered the cabin and saw what the wish was. This fun and darkly funny play hurtles along to its (surprise!) conclusion, and I loved every minute of it.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Wish

I definitely said "Wooooow..." as I finished reading this play. It was funny, it was dark and practically every twist took me by surprise. Especially the end! The characters are all very rich and distinct and I guarantee audiences will all be saying "Wooooow..." at the end of each performance. This is a winner!

  • John Bavoso: The Wish

A darkly comic play, THE WISH offers a brutal update to the “be careful what you wish for” genre. Adaway invites the audience to the worst birthday party ever, complete with cake, booze, and biting one-liners. With a brisk pace and recognizable characters, this is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

  • Ann Timmons: The Wish

The Conrad family has a LOT of issues! Younger daughter Bonnie seeks to address them by throwing a highly unusual birthday party, commencing a deliciously twisty journey. "The Wish" is by turns fall-out-of-your-seat funny and unexpectedly chilling. You'll be surprised by the ending. But oddly satisfied.
