Echoes of a Lost Son captured the spirit of the post 9/11 haze that took over so many of our lives. The perfectly crafted characters in Chima's play, rich with nuance and deeply embedded in complicated relationships, are going to sit with me for a long time. I read a section of this play earlier and found it completely engrossing, this expanded version is dynamic, daring, and ready for a bold production. I look forward to seeing this in person. Chima is a playwright to follow and celebrate, his work is outstanding.

Chikazunga's play has a lot to say and deals with grief, addiction, and family beautifully.
Having lived in NYC during the 9/11 attack, I was taken back to that time while reading the play.
The September 11th Tragedy in New York is a haunting backdrop for this raw family drama.
