Creative, powerful storytelling that hooks you and keeps you wondering what's happening until the end. Loved it!

This is an amazing piece and I was gutted by this. Amazing. A true masterpiece of a wordless performance that communicates so much.

DC CATHRO has written a gem of a five-page piece. “Chase” is a wonderful opportunity for an actress to tell a short story with so much depth without speaking a word.

A tour de force vehicle for the right actor. The play showcases some very innovative ways of storytelling with an ending that can only be described as brutal. Brilliant 5 page play. Must-read.

So richly-detailed and evocative, I can't believe how much Cathro does with five pages. This would be an amazing study for an actor - who speaks no lines and says *everything* - creating a perfect little world that we watch unravel. Not written for Zoom - but I could see it adapt to that platform beautifully. Stunningly well-crafted.

A moving story that plays out in a unique and dramatic way. In just five pages. Well done.

I watched a performance of "Chase" on the NU Theatre YouTube channel. It's a wonderful mystery that allows an audience to infer a lot of the details. It would be a wonderful challenge for a female actor, too.

Cathro’s wildly imaginative play requires no lines for the protagonist to memorize, but the emotional build and the use of voicemails on an answering machine to drive the narrative forward creates this tense, engaging environment for the audience to explore. A cool 10-minute piece for companies on a budget, and for actors looking for a movement piece that brings a challenge to the table.

DC Cathro has written a drama with a fantastic build-up (those voicemails get more and more interesting) and a character who is a dream for any actress to play. Without a single line of dialogue, Chase easily portrays what she's going through without giving anything away. I look forward to reading more of DC's work!

Wow. It was so real; I felt as if I was seeing something I shouldn't be seeing: a private moment. Some of us have been Chase or feel like we know her... I really loved this piece and hope to see it on stage one day.
