Daphne White does an incredible job showing the struggle (that is still ongoing) in the woman's suffrage movement while not pulling any punches on evaluating the flaws in Susan B Anthony as well. This piece is poignant, powerful, and educational. I was blessed to be in a reading of this show and I would love to see it fully staged!

"Susan B" is a timely, provocative piece, rooted in history and cogent in how it lays out one of the most pressing issues of our generation through the travails of real women.

Utterly fantastic, a rich and engaging drama that immerses us completely in the plot. A wonderful history play!

Has all the makings of a great history play. The stakes are huge for everyone. The betrayals — personal and political — are effectively dramatized, and make for a page-turning read. Also, Daphne's Susan is a consummate bad-ass! We know we're supposed to be sympathetic toward her, but what makes this play such a fun ride is that she has a certain amount of hubris. She believes it’s her way or the highway. And when she falls, she falls from a great height.
