I try to put myself in the unseen Dr. Gary’s position to figure out how to counsel Billie as he faces relationship issues with Minky, a sock monkey, who is having an affair with a corgi. And I have to laugh. And you will too throughout this zany, yet relatable story. The visual aspect combined with Rachael Carne’s sure fire wit make this a pure delight.

Super silly and surreal, BOOTS is, at its heart, a relationship story and the tools they use from couples' therapy are actually very relatable. Even if you aren't a burly guy in a relationship with a sock monkey. This would be a very visually entertaining play!

RACHEL CARNES’ ten-minute play, “Boots”, is so much fun to read and is undeniably a gem which audiences will love to watch. The characters, Billie and Minky, are brilliant. Quirky, witty, determined, lovable are only a few of their many traits. Bravo! Great work!
