The House of the Spirits (based on Isabel Allende's novel)

Recommended by

  • Lainie Vansant: The House of the Spirits (based on Isabel Allende's novel)

Svich condenses a long, epic novel into a beautiful theatrical piece through the use of poetry, image, and song. This play is both a universal family drama and a lesson in Chilean history through the eyes of powerful women. On top of that, it presents exciting challenges for designers, actors, directors, and more. Read and produce it - I so want to see it done!
