The Enigma by Kate is a superb short monologue, funny from start to finish but you can't help feel sorry for the disillusioned narrator. Witty, pacy and a little sad, perfect!

This is a dream monologue for any mid-life actor - plenty of emotional dips and dives aided and abetted by well-drawn words and plenty of opportunity to play with subtext! Loved it!!

A great funny satirical spoof filled with one funny bit after another. This is a perfect piece for short play festivals. Audiences will connect with it and it will give a great role to a deserving actress. Well done!

KATE DANLEY’s monologue is a wonderful spoof of the power we may hope to have - control of the universe with our mind - but then, we realize our wants and desires may not come easily by ‘thinking positive’. I got a good laugh from “The Enigma”, and I believe audiences will, too.

There are not enough monoloupges with bite and fun out there for women in their forties and this one is a fun, fresh, and I'd love to see someone audition for a show using this monologue!

What a fun monologue! Full of peaks and valleys, a perfect showcase for an actor's skills. I love the way Danley hovers around and through so many current topics, without ever seeming on-the-nose or maudlin. This fresh, lively short play would bring a dynamic new edge to any festival or audition.
