A deliciously macabre take on that old standby, a school science fair. It is hysterical to realize that little Billy Porter's off the charts project is to be used as a model for other students. The deliriously deranged principal takes family participation to another level.

Gruesome and darkly funny two hander, a brilliant spin on the pushy parent narrative! I love thé wordplay and puns, and the way it continues to build once the conceit is revealed.

What a perfectly macabre short play that kept me on my toes… I should be grateful I still have toes, right? As a former educator, this was not where I saw this delightful piece going, and I was thrilled with the outcome.

This play is able to maintain the constant stream of comedy a sketch does with incredible storytelling. It's a very timely play, as the expectation to be exceptional increases, especially at a young age.

As I read through this brilliant piece of comedy theatre with a veil of darkness I couldn't help but think, "well some parents do take school competitions very seriously". Once again John has taken an the ordinary event of a school science fair and given it a wonderfully brilliant twist! The quick and witty back and forth between teacher and parent is brilliantly done and would make a wonderful sketch for any actors who love to hear an audience laugh, and trust me, they will!

I love comedy that surprises, and this really took me by surprise!!!! The whole concept is unbelievably gruesome, yet relatable and wholly hilarious! I will be laughing about this for a long time!...and also counting my lucky stars I don't have a kid that needs help with their science project!

John Busser has a strange and wonderful mind. This skewed, satirical look at science fair projects and helicopter parenting is a prime example of his dark-humored wit and is a super vehicle for the right pair of comedic actors. The play pulls you in and gets more macabre as it goes on. Super work.

Just in time for Halloween, John Busser proves to be Master of the Macabre with a delicious middle school tale of misplaced body parts, as well as a fine putdown of science fair politics.
