Incredibly fun piece that had this admitted sci-fi geek grinning from ear to ear at all the references. And the comedy is just great as well in terms of the good-natured takedown of all this ridiculous stuff (that, again admittedly, many of us love beyond measure). Even those who don't know their Wookies from their Klingons will have a lot of fun watching this piece. Highly encourage any ten-minute festival to put it on the bill to beam their audiences up into pure hilarity.

Chewie, Get Us Out of Here is a lot of fun for anyone, more so for us sci-fi nerds who will catch the multitude of references packed into the ten minutes of away-mission chaos. Williams wisely uses the OG Star Trek characters as focal - Kirk's overbearing ridiculousness is a perfect fit here - and the voyage careens merrily along until the dreaded dramaturgs create urgency in a return to the ship. Poor, poor Chekhov.

Williams's gut-busting sci-fi parody has all the laughs in all the right places in this swiftly-paced, hysterical comedy!

I laughed out loud reading this hilariously over-the-top sendup of Star Wars, Star Trek, nearly every other sci-fi franchise you've ever thought of — and Chekhov. Philip Middleton Williams leaves no cliché unturned, and audiences will love it. Bravo!

What brilliant, fast paced, action packed - indeed pun & quote packed, hilarity! This play cleverly brings in so many Sci-Fi TV and Film quotes and characters, it would be a total hoot to stage! Oh no, Dramaturgs!!

This is just plain hysterical! As soon as you read the character list and the scene starts with a dead guy in a red shirt, you know Philip Middleton Williams will leave no cliche unturned! He even worked in the toilet paper joke! This is so much fun, and I couldn’t help but read it with all of the well-known voices in my head. I may have to come back to this from time to time just for the laughs!

Geekery done right! This is what the intersection of my brain and my fandoms looks like during rush hour. And rush hour is every hour of the day! Kudos to Philip Middleton Williams for corralling all these separate entities into one show!

CHEWIE, GET US OUT OF HERE is a hilariously witty play by Philip Middleton Williams. I am impressed (and honestly, obsessed) with the ridiculous amount of sci-fi pop culture packed into this short.

This is just fun. While this show makes great use of the references from so many classic Sci-Fi films, this show has great on stage characters that have witty dialogue and great banter. A fantastic ten minutes of theatre.

Loved all of the pop culture references here, as well as all of the silliness and fun! Such an entertaining script!
