You want theatricality. I got your theatricality right here. Plus there’s a kazoo! This an expansive tale which was made to live on the stage. Great audience immersion, actors playing multiple roles and excellent use of music. Produce this NOW! You won’t be sorry. Highly recommended.

  • Robert Weibezahl: TOES TAPPING WILDLY, a 30 minute comedy for 12+ actors

The title perfectly captures this piece: a wild theatrical ride that taps (sorry!) into all Arianna Rose's strengths as a writer--brilliant, rhythmic use of language; a vividly visual kaleidoscope of history; and a keen eye for staging. The written page cannot do justice to Rose's energetic vision. Please, someone produce this gem so we can see it come to life!

  • Morey Norkin: TOES TAPPING WILDLY, a 30 minute comedy for 12+ actors

The staccato rhythm of Arianna Rose’s dialogue combined with the fluid movement of the action give this play the feel of an intricate tap routine. It feels like it should be choreographed as opposed to directed. An incredible ensemble piece inspired by a surprising event in Ginger Rogers’ early life, this play screams to be produced!

  • Bruce Karp: TOES TAPPING WILDLY, a 30 minute comedy for 12+ actors

I wanted to read this play because Arianna has written some wonderful stories based on real people. In this play, she's painted a wonderful and visual story of the early days of Ginger Rogers, and it was shocking to learn she was kidnapped by her own father as a baby. The vivid stage directions paint a clear picture. Her imagery heightens the play's action. This play should be produced!

A delight from start to finish - a theatrical cavalcade compressed into ten minutes to tell a "real life" episode in Ginger Roger's infancy with panache, suspense and energy. Leaves you wanting more.

  • Doug DeVita: TOES TAPPING WILDLY, a 30 minute comedy for 12+ actors

Highly theatrical, enormously charming, and just plain fun, this play is a densely packed ten minutes that seems longer — and in this case that’s a compliment — and yet one doesn’t want it to end. Absolutely wonderful.
