Best friends Junie and Dot have left their husbands and children behind and embarked on an adventure, following a map left to Junie by her free-spirited mother Doris, who passed away one year ago. Reluctantly dutiful, Junie struggles with her unresolved frustration at Doris’ perpetual attempts (even reaching beyond the grave) to mold her staid and steady daughter into something more like the effervescent Dot. Who could resist a play with dragons?! Two beautiful, strong female voices lead the audience on a journey of self-discovery and contemplation of the mother-daughter relationships we all experience in our own ways. Great humor, empathy and Star Wars references make for touching, laugh-out-loud read.

Just the right mix of humor and substance. The characters' friendship is true and touching, and the existential questions of meaning and mother-daughter relationships is universal (And Dragons! Who doesn't like Dragons?!)
