I saw a production of this fun and funny 10 minute play at the Actors Theatre Playhouse in NH this weekend. This short play takes a pot shot at any and all silly Christmas movies. What a hoot.

Thank you Mr Vinero, for saving me from enduring two hours of a Hallmark Christmas film with your clever, witty, perfectly sarcastic ten minute play! This is a wonderfully astute look at the twee holiday television schedule and I do expect, if staged, there to be seventeen commercial breaks throughout! Very clever!

I “hear” there is a drinking game associated with Christmas tv movies. Every time a stereotypical Christmas moment happens, you take a shot. That would be a dangerous game to play with Vinero’s Christmas-latte-confection. You would be inebriated five minutes into the play. Vinero hits all the Hallmark-trope-frosting-covered-elf moments with sprinkles on top. If the sugars of the season are leaving you jumpy, the antidote is right here. Read it! Better yet, produce it.

This is a delight. Every Christmas movie trope is squeezed into 10 minutes, and the writing is SO smart and funny. Like, really fantastic. It’s very hard to choose, but I think my favorite touch is how whenever the man gets a call from his boss, he barely pauses to listen before relaying a lengthy description of what the boss said to the woman. What a blast this play would be for a pair of actors - and for an audience.

I saw a wonderful production of this play at the Dalton (GA) Little Theatre yesterday. Trust me when I say I've seen scores of twisted holiday plays, and this has to rate right at the top. I was howling throughout!!! Clever, well-wrriten and, in its own perverse way, touching,

Brian Vinero touches on every possible holiday movie trope in TEN MINUTES ‘TIL CHIRSTMAS and I was laughing so hard I was crying by the end of the script. What a fabulous short play!

With a wicked sense of humor, Vinero skewers the relentlessly sentimental tropes of holiday movies. This hilarious play would be a welcome addition to any holiday show or Christmas play festival.

Vinero has got the plot line down! A totally hilarious spoof on every "Hallmark" movie ever made. I just love this fast-paced gem of a short play!

Anyone who has ever been forced to watch a Hallmark Christmas movie against their will be laughing out loud throughout this witty send-up. And so will most people who count the days till the 2020 movies are released.
