Aaaand now I'm crying. Rachel Lynett does a truly gorgeous job of writing a sincere relationship filled with love, hardship, compromise, and LAUGHTER. All of the "what if's" and the "maybes" exist here in "Adored You" and it is a beautiful thing.

Adored You takes the reader out of time and into the heads and hearts of its characters. Lila and Alex are both fantastically flawed and believable. Their dynamic changes so fluidly you just know that these are fully people, not two dimensional characters. Lynett will make you cry and laugh and mourn with and for these characters. The dialog is smooth and natural, something Lynett always excels at. Give this one a read, you won't regret it.

The dance of a relationship, the ability to come to agreements and the emotional journey that comes with it are beautifully laid out in an experience we can all relate to. Excellent.

An exceptional story of two characters and their relationship, with the highs and lows we all feel, but with the unique voice that this playwright brings. Deeply felt, effortless in conveying emotion, this play stands out. Thank you for writing this.

Relationships are a dance - sometimes the same dance as we get closer and closer to the initial steps - like the proverbial 'peeling an onion' - Openness, commitment, transparency to those around you -- I like this play because it gets deeper and deeper -- but I don't want to give away the end. A confident and interesting writer. I look forward to reading more of Lynett's work.
