Age might be just a number, but I never thought about it in terms of driving. Vivian Lermond’s extended metaphor is breathtakingly accurate. We are driving along, and before we know it, we are stuck in a bottleneck of Boomers. I love monologues for senior actors, if they are well-told, and this one goes full speed ahead! I would love to see this in action.

A cracking little monologue from Vivian Lermond who vocalises many thoughts about the ageing process in a unique - and incredibly accurate manner. There is hope enveloped in these thoughts and offers a nudge to all who decide that compliance is not mandatory, Break out and break free!!

Lovely piece for an older actress with gumption and a desire to not give up the driver's seat quite yet.

A beautifully written monologue in which the momentum of age is an exhilarating adventure.
