Anyone who has been drawn into somebody else's eccentric (or poorly thought out) special funerary requests will get a cathartic release of laughter from this taboo-breaking road-trip frenemy comedy. In the end it's not just about desecrating living celebrities with human remains but the friends we make along the way.

What a funny, joyful writer. Women being funny and women being awkward, taking up SPACE - it's just the best. The cringe and the relentless commitment to bits make the script a hoot and a half. So grateful I found this play and this playwright!

This wonderful treasure of a play about the magic of humor and friendship is such a treat. I saw a reading of it a few weeks back and have continued to think about the value in our everyday interactions. Finding Neil Patrick Harris is both hysterical and tender and will leave you with a big smile on your face and your heart feeling warm.

Comedy is alive and well when you read this play. The playwright takes an odd premise and runs with it, and by the middle you're actually hoping the characters achieve what they're trying to do. That in itself made me laugh, but I was also very amused by the characters themselves, the dialog, and the rapid complications that ensued. Fantastic, funny play!

Funny at a time when we all need it, this play has at it's core a friendship between two working class women that we don't see on the stage often enough. Think Lucy and Ethel in their physical comedy, their give-and-take and the way they navigate the world, often by making unintentional waves.

A funny, funny, funny play, at last! "Scientifically we need to laugh." This line from Donna Hoke's lovely new play has never been truer than at this moment in time. Donna has written a deliciously sweet and introspective comedy wherein the action of the play is driven by...wait for it...no guessing...here it is...WOMEN! Yes, two delightful gals sally-forth, trailing the ashes of their dead buddy, Lucio, and inadvertently sprinkling him, well, all over the place. You'll love this play.

Donna Hoke creates a piece that manages to blend the energies of farce, buddy flick, road flick, and quest narrative into a hugely entertaining and satisfying piece about women's friendship. Great roles for all three actors--two very specifically drawn women and a wild, multi-character, chameleon role for a third actor. Fun, funny, and fulfilling!

I adore this play. I think what I love most is the part about being funny, how hard it is, how important it is (to some of us)…. And this play is funny.

The piece keeps moving, keeps surprising, returning, revisiting, revealing…I want to SEE it.
