Most know the names of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, the first men to walk on the Moon during the Apollo 11 mission. But few know the name of the third astronaut who remained in lunar orbit, waiting for his friends to return from the lunar surface; Michael Collins. He spent 25 hours in the command module Columbia alone, half of that spent in radio silence, completely cut off from any other person. This alternate-history play explores that solitude, his fears and his hopes as he drifts around the Moon, and what happens when something goes wrong on the surface.
