MOTHER is such a fun few minutes, read this, better still watch the production on YouTube! For not only is this written so well, but it's acted superbly by the playwright herself along with the talented 'baby' Mark Holden.
It's not clear where this play is heading, but slowly and hilariously it unfolds to reveal a perfect ending. Love it!

What a hilarious delight of a two-minute two hander! PRISKORN’s short play, “Mother” plays into a child interviewing his new potential mother, and what treat it is! Feels to me like one of those old timey videos of children who think they know a little too much! Brava!

This is so much fun! What a wacky piece, a super comedy for any festival! Simple to produce and really twists the premise in the best way!

A hysterically funny and compact 2-minute comedy that wastes no time. The premise is terrific, the writing is witty. Of course, J.J. would be a gift for any actor to play, but is especially accessible to a riotous child actor. Well done!

JACQUELYN FLOYD-PRISKORN never disappoints. Her plays are gems. ‘Mother’ explores the notion we get to pick who brings us into our world. The play has a great ending, which was totally unexpected.
