Short Cut in the Cemetery is a fun, dark twist on a familiar horror trope. What starts as a typical romantic rendezvous quickly spirals into unexpected, hilarious horror. The punchline is sharp, and the suspense keeps you on the edge. A perfect blend of creepy and comedic!

The classic horror trope of promiscuous girl gets her murderous punishment is turned on its ear in this short, creepy thriller! But, I admit, I laughed, too!

YIKES!!! ACK!!! OY!!!

What a journey! The dark of night! The edge of death! The drink of desire! Secrets abound and revelations astound!

If you're single or simply unadventurous, this will justify those life choices!

10.21.24 - Not where I was expecting this to go, even though I got my horror, even though I got my cemetery, even though I got my knife, I was not prepared for that punchline. Ouch! Not since Seinfeld have I ever been afraid of... well, what Carol turned out to be! Funny stuff.

Wow! You thinking your entering spooky-romance-comedy-territory and then Williams turns the table on everyone: the characters and the audience. The ending will send a chill. A taut, unique short play that packs a wallop in just a few minutes.

A person not being what they seem...every ones nightmare. This extreme short play is a scary "slice of life" and you'll know what I mean when you read it. So much happens in this brief encounter. And the title is so apt. Bravo.

It never ceases to amaze me, the skill of the writer who can pack so much into one minute. Here, we have expectation, anticipation, hilarity, shock and horror all bound together by Philip Middleton William's hallmark fluid dialogue. A breathless one minute of wit and smart writing. Fabulous.

I really enjoyed this darkly humorous piece. Even with a small page count, it has more than its share of surprises!
