In Washington DC in the near future, four young Jewish friends gather post-pandemic for dinner. Birdie is a
newly elected progressive congresswoman; Artie is a hot-shot aide to a powerful subcommittee ranking
member; Mabs, Birdie's sister, is an activist; and Lila is their former collegiate friend from Israel, who works at
the embassy. But when the discussion turns to pending legislation that Lila thinks will harm her nation, the
conversation turns fierce. Then Lila reveals she has compromising information on Birdie.
