I am delighted to recommend this play after having had the pleasure of attending a zoom reading of this play when it was part of Hollins Playwright’s Lab 2020 Playwrights Festival. My Shame is Your Demon is a taut and well-balanced two-hander. By teasing apart the narratives that the characters have created for themselves, the play compellingly explores culpability, memory, and family.
