Such a fun mystery adventure fueled by heat, ice cream, and a potential dragon. And it's even more intriguing due to the fact that it's based on a real prank! I love the songs and the awareness and the fun opportunities it provides for the whole cast.

Beware! For you are certain to fall in love with the ongoing humor and lyrical storytelling of this small-town tale. I'm so glad I couldn't resist a play with Dragon in the title - this play showcases plenty of fun characters for young actors and adults, as we follow Dotty, Mickey, and family in solving the great mystery of Lake Orion. Ahhhh!

That’s entertainment! Fun for the whole family! Jacquie Floyd-Priskorn has created a fun-filled mystery based on an actual legend that is at once a throwback to child detective stories like Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys and also a forerunner of Schmigadoon! What a treat! Even better than fish ice cream!

As someone who was a die hard fan of the Enid Blyton adventure books as a kid, I adored this play! Jacquelyn has created a brilliantly fabulous adventure constructed of wonderful characters telling a fabulous story that will entertain both children and adults alike. You can imagine the adventure unfolding right before your eyes and it will take you back to an age where you too once believed in dragons!

The talented, prolific Jacquie Floyd-Priskorn has created a terrific play for young people. Dotty and her family have their Michigan vacation interrupted by mystery of the Dragon of Lake Orion, but Dotty, determined sleuth that she is, chases the mystery while engaging the entire town in a theatrical search for the truth. This play has fun roles, singing, choreography, and lots of one-liners that will delight performers and actors alike.

Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn always writes such charmers and this one is no exception. Mixing a Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mystery into a kids play works extremely well as the kids try to solve the mystery keeping them from enjoying a cooling swim. Somehow the tall tale involving dragons, unicorns, fish ice cream and even some clever singing and dancing all work together to produce a wonderful play. I love the way some jokes work on the kids level while others are subtle enough to make adults chuckle too. Like a Loony Tunes cartoon (which is the highest praise I know.)
