"Do you remember going to the Park?" - this stellar science fiction drama was so much fun to read, wonderful and heartbreaking. I love Shenoy's grasp of clear and impactful dialogue with an expansive sense of character and backstory swirling beyond their words. This piece reminds me of some of my favorite Beckett pieces, I'd love to see actors work with and sink their teeth into this text!

I love a Zoom play that makes clever use of the technology, and this short-lived reunion between two star-crossed lovers on different worlds is a fantastic virtual play. Both characters are highly motivated and distinct, and though they are connecting from a future we don't inhabit, their feelings are clear and contemporary. The moment when I realized what "the globe was" everything clicked. There is something both melancholy and hopeful about this imagined future. I don't know anyone who won't be able to relate to what is, at its core, a very simple tale of unrequited love.

Separated by space, the connection is still there and the emotions are still strong. Beautifully done.

I adored the simplicity of this story: two people trying to forge a connection built on a long-past relationship. The layers of technology and science, the unimaginable distance between them, and the spark of hope that cannot be extinguished bring this beautiful play to sparkling life. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would love to see it performed!

Oh, this is so sweet, sad and relatable. Even though it is light years from where we exist now, it does kind of reflect our current situation of separation. And it is hard to "stay on the same page" when there is distance between to people. No matter how great that distance may be. You can feel the love and sadness of both characters and I think this is such a special way to do Zoom theatre without it being all about "social distancing" for the pandemic. Just a lovely. poetic piece overall.

Nandita Shenoy absolutely captures how to tell a story using Zoom or other screen-based virtual communication. But what especially shines in this 10-minute play is the story, the characters, and their relationship that she dramatizes.

"To the Stars with Love" showcases wistful, emotional characters who cannot be together. To make things even more emotional for the audience, Shenoy shows that they would be good for one another when she allows them to reminisce fondly on their shared past.

A warmth in deep space. The atmosphere mixing with the dialogue gives the reader a glimpse of two people's fleeting moments of humanity as they work for human's progress.
