Tea Patches

Maddy is an American college student studying abroad in Australia, her family and support network on the other side of the world. She has one friend from home with her and meets a cute girl, another American studying abroad with a shared attraction and passion for smoking weed, but Maddy's spending a lot of time alone trying to get control over her anorexia, which only seems to be getting worse.

This play has a sweet, slow melancholy to it that draws the reader (and the audience, I'm sure) into its characters' pain. It also offers kind insight into intimate and life-threatening problems for its protagonist and her friends.
