Rex McGregor has built a perfect world for the setting of "The Mama and the Papa." I love that the era and the location lead to the central conflict and influence these supernatural characters' decisions. I also enjoy plays that put extraordinary characters in everyday circumstances, and these are two of the most extraordinary characters ever. [24/10/23]

With The Mama and the Papa, Rex McGregor has created an uproariously divine two-hander. The voices are so specific, the banter practically sings, and the jokes are multiple laughs a minute. It’s no surprise that this short has had so much success! Bravo!

Rex McGregor's THE MAMA AND THE PAPA is psychedelic satire about God and Mother Nature meeting in the midst of the 1960s counter-culture fueled by free-love, marijuana, LSD, and the Beatles, but it's also a debate about reproductive choice, the environment and pharmaceuticals!

It's a world of love sweeping the globe, but someone isn't taking it well! Funny and well done!
