  • Morey Norkin: Crass Reunion

I won’t be able to attend my *cough cough* reunion this year, but fortunately I could experience one much more enjoyable thanks to Jacquie Floyd-Priskorn’s hilarious CRASS REUNION! How’s this for kicking things off? “Saffron Hollyhock enters, perky as puke. Former senior class president, now a Banana Republic clad soccer mom, clinging to her MILF status.” It just gets wilder and funnier from there! Throw in some inspired audience participation and this is one reunion you don’t want to miss!

CRASS REUNION is a hilarious and fun play that would be so much fun to see and/or perform in! What a great show for performers with strong improv talents.

Making me laugh the way Floyd-Priskorn can only do!! I love the audience interaction which would be so priceless to see done, and I love being able to experience a class reunion through the writer's eyes since I'll never probably never attend one of my own. Like most things in life, the competition and getting ahead in life never really turns off and the gym of the entire play is that everyone gets a participation ribbon for attending just like in little league games. Comic gold.

A nice, little gem of a play. Fun characters and some great audience participation bits. I’d love to see it staged.

Oh, my, “Crass Reunion” is a riot. You will laugh out loud and wish you were watching it produced on stage. This play has some great comedic roles, and the audience will love it. Crazy times; good times; memorable times.

Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn had me at "I collect disability and the little woman manages the Kroger AND coaches cheerleading for the blind." Actually, she had me at the get go for this hilarious interactive play and the nightmare that is the class reunion. If they were more like this, no one would dread going. Like a slam door farce taking place in a gymnasium, all the characters have strangely funny and inappropriate connections and the addition of using audience members as former classmates is inspired. Don't wait till another reunion happens. This should be produced now.

This one act is delightful!! It uses audience volunteers in such a fun way, and had me laughing out loud as I read. (I LOVE the idea of emergency wine. Sooo good.) Each character is uniquely distinct, and even the audience volunteers are varied and given fun things to do. I'll bet this plays amazingly on its feet.
