Wow! Intimate, funny, sexy, heartbreaking, and scary! All in ten minutes! The on again off again relationship between Rose and Mark seems to headed in the wrong direction for Rose. But Rose, the living Variety Pack (love that line!), may have the last word. If someone offers you comps to see this, I suggest you accept them. In fact, I would gladly pay to see this!

Both horrifying and hilarious. This two hander really delivers in terms of pace, comedy and characters. What starts out as a loving romantic (and sexual) scene soon develops into an exploration of modern relationships and “what it all means”. Highly recommend!

WOW! This piece comes in hot and just keeps delivering! FLOYD-PRISKORN gives audiences as private and very raw view on the private lives of Rose and Mark at a pivotal moment in their relationship. This would be a real treat for a talent actor and actress to bring to life.

A short, thrilling piece that puts a new spin on BDSM. The “M” might not be what you think! Kinks and hijinks abound in JACQUELYN FLOYD-PRISKORN’s fun, funny play.

Mark, just Mark, and Rose, the ultimate Variety Pack, deal with the demise of their engagement in this wickedly funny, fast-paced story. So much to love about this! Compelling characters. Sizzling dialogue – so many great lines delivered by Rose who excels at improv as well as Shakespeare. Fantastic!

I think my favorite line from Jacquie Floyd's hilarious Love Shackles is "...we watched “Con Air” and ate cold pizza on Valentine’s Day." (Of course, I took my current girlfriend to "The Expendables" on our first date, so what do I know?) Jacquie never disappoints with her engaging characters and here we find a desperate Mark, caught cheating and cuffed to a chair by his much smarter and rightfully vengeful Rose, as she toys with him. This Rose has some thorns, and Mark is the one getting pricked. Great stuff.

An energetic ride right out of the gate that just gains speed and momentum all the way until you realize that a 10-minute play just felt like 5. Buckle up. Great writing.

Love Shackles by Jacquelyn really packs a punch, and also the odd slap. This is a high energy, dangerous relationship told brilliantly. I can see the audience being on the edge of their seats and most likely squirming at times! I love how the author has hinted at two possible endings in her stage directions, wonderful!

JACQUELYN FLOYD-PRISKORN takes us into the final moments (maybe?) of an engaged couple’s relationship. They have great sex, but there seems to be something missing - like anything beyond sex. “Love Shackles” is the horrible time you realize things are not working out, but your partner has a very different idea on how to end things.
