Instead, it sends her into a spiral of loneliness, long drives, and a search for fulfillment in fast food. Then Theo arrives. Quiet, thoughtful, with an unmaskable hunger that is at once attractive and intimidating, Theo and Faith find in each other hope that their wounds can be staunched. But the disappearance of a young girl causes Faith to question whether the life she has built with Theo is real and what she’ll do to protect it. Conjuring and reliving memories of the past three years, Faith sits alone on a small town playground trying to find answers to questions she never wanted to have to ask.

A wonderful memory play about suspecting the absolute worst about someone you love. A play that asks if it's better or not to know what the person you love is capable of. This play gives no easy answers and leaves you wondering how our protagonist lives on. I loved the creative use of space in this play and how it's left up to the actors to portray changes in location.

Osorio weaves a beautiful interplay of grief and memory here. With the majority of the story told by the main character (Faith) through memory, it's clear that she's coming to terms with a grief for what she had but also being confronted by grief for something she might lose. Faith speaks largely in the third person which is a painful and affecting, allowing the audience to feel both how close and simultaneously how far away grief, loneliness, and hope are for her. Overall, this play is a really thoughtful exploration of difficult subject matter.
