The destruction of the natural world in the name of 'progress' is not a new thing to the human race but Michele has explored it in a wonderfully poetic way with vivid imagery as these two women follow the trail and explore both the past and the future and what it means for the path they find themselves on. I think it would make a wonderful radio play because if you close your eyes you can see, not only these women engaged in their conversation but the world they are discussing.

Such a poetic and terrifying trip these women went on. Michele captures the horror of Underhill by letting his words convict himself. And love the all the riding lingo!

The lid is uncovered on the atrocities that were done as a call to live more harmoniously with each other and the natural world. Well done.
