I had the great privilege of producing this piece as an audio play for my podcast "Theatrical Sheananigans" and I love how well it addresses the question "How Much do we really know about our parents?" Guy creates this wonderful moment between two sisters and as well as moments of fabulous humour, interweaves it with moments of raw emotion and tenderness that explores not only the relationship between the sisters but the relationship they had with their parents. Its a wonderful piece that takes a moment of amusement and gives so much more!

No one looks forward to cleaning out the personal belongings of a loved one after they passed. But when El and Fran discover a secret from their mother's past, it gives them an honest look of the full human with feelings their mother was. And perhaps to take stock of their own lives as well. A surprisingly moving piece with a funny premise. Just like real life.

Sometimes we have these visions of our parents that the stopped being human when they had children and yet, most people have those desires at 40 or 60 as they did at 20. They were given more freedom to act upon them. Photo Finish gives you an exhilarating peak into one mother who surprise her daughters, but also give them a bond that will grow stronger over time when they both start to feel the strain of the veneer we paint ourselves with to just get by in this world.
