What a fun look at the lighter side of alien abduction! Xiernon manages to talk his way out of a nearly successful voluntary abduction. It was nice to see the near abduction bring a couple closer together.

Such a delightful short! It takes your typical kitchen sink dynamics and adds an alien to hilarious effect! This little grok triangle is out of this world!

If you're going to be abducted by aliens, you could do worse than being abducted by Xiernon. This is a delightful, little sci-fi comedy that just wants to put a smile on your face, and I'm all here for it.

Sometimes it takes an outsiders perspective for you to appreciate your relationship. Maripat has created a wonderfully funny outside and two very real humans who, despite the alien abductions going on around them, still manage to have a very real conversation about their relationship. The real and the sci-fi is balanced brilliantly with loads of lovely moments of humour that will ensure an audience are not only drawn into this strange scenario but get to enjoy giggling moments right the way through. My next stop is the audio production because I know an audio production will be just as brilliant!

Maripat Allen has skillfully written a fun little sci-fi story here. Its comedy from beginning to end and Maripat does a great job of giving each character their own voice and motives. A hilarious 10-minute script for any theatre out there looking for short comedic sci-fi plays!

I have just listened to this great play bought to life by the brilliant Gather by the Ghost Light podcast.
Isn't it just believable that when we finally meet aliens, who are being perfectly polite, we treat them with hostility and abuse! Maripat's couple here do just that and you can't help but feel sorry for this visitor from outer space.
Great fun!

An easy-to-stage extraterrestrial sci-fi comedy, grounded by the interaction between a believable Earth couple! I particularly enjoyed the wife's perspective on alien abduction! Ha! I loved the humorous adaptation produced on the GATHER BY THE GHOST LIGHT podcast.

A fun play that spoofs alien abduction. Maripat Allen introduces us to an earthy "Earth" couple with their own reactions to potential abduction by an inexperienced being. The conflict is fun and heart warming.
