The love and acceptance of a sister help Chelsea overcome her hurt at the boycott of her birthday party by supposed friends. It also opens the door to Chelsea accepting her full self, including her sexuality. This play is a lovely valentine to sibling dynamics. It's great fun and most heartening to be along for the ride.

This is such a cute and wonderful play! I love the sibling dynamics here, and how Chelsea's truth and honesty and nerdiness allowed her and Andrea to come together in the end! To celebrate a birthday, sometimes you're siblings are all you need! Nice work Alle!

This is a terrific story about teen sisters and the importance of family. The werewolf tale that bookends Chelsea and Andrea's story lends a nice touch. "Happy Birthday to Me" would be great in a LGBTQIA+ festival or festival for teens/young adults.

This is a hilarious and at times too accurate play that perfect captures sibling dynamics and how it feels to have someone accept your nerddom. This was adorable and so fun to read!

Alle Mims creates two indelible characters whose not-so-secret secrets are revealed in nuanced, natural fashion. The dialogue is funny and pitch-perfect. This play earns its sentimentality by telling a story that seems like listening in on a conversation that moves with dramatic rhythm. This is a perfect little gem of a play.

Loved this tender moment between sisters. Loved the slipping in of queerness and it not being a huge thing.
