Lucy's steadfast refusal to receive the COVID-19 vaccine casts a shadow over her carefully laid plans, cherished relationships, and especially her bond with Max, her devoted boyfriend. A mysterious visit from an uncannily familiar figure acts as a catalyst, unveiling the hidden truths that permeate her business and Max's true intentions. As she confronts the consequences of her decisions, Lucy realizes the potential ramifications extend beyond her dreams, potentially endangering her very life.

Writing this recommendation over four years after we first encountered COVID-19, and sometimes it feels like 40 years ago, other times like 40 minutes ago. I'm recommending this piece for many reasons, first and foremost the fascinating concept of "The Stranger."
