Spotted Leopards

Aubree and their partner Carlisle are spending what seems to be a normal evening together when Carlisle asks Aubree to run away with them to escape an in-coming catastrophe of astronomical proportions. Together they discuss the true value of life in the context of multiple universes, and how far love really can extend when ones life and morality are on the line.

"Keep doing that and you’ll make me fall in love, and it’s way too early for that" is such an amazing opening line. What the play becomes from there is so heartachingly powerful, it makes me choke up. Both Aubree and Carlisle have valid viewpoints, which is what makes it all so hard to witness. I saw this play once as a Zoom reading and cannot wait to see an in-person production of it.
