Truly deserving of the win last night. All-around great writing and so much fun to see this performed. Packed with juicy opportunities for character work and containing content suitable for any cast or audience, this play should be performed often. Well done!

Had the pleasure of seeing this live last night. A hilarious, sharp, and clever play with one heck of a last line. Great work, Randy!

This play had me at the clever character names! As a former school teacher and dedicated pescatarian, I found this hilarious situation comedy more than a little bit relatable! The staff room can often be the most negative, discouraging place in a school. In this uplifting short, a group of disenchanted educators reflects on why they do what they do in the middle of a rough day. The final button of a reversal was a laugh-out-loud conclusion to a charming character piece.

A great look at what teacher's go through on a daily basis mixed commentary on the unwritten rules of the workplace. I could smell fish while I was reading it and that is meant to be a compliment to author. I could relate to each of the characters in some way even though I'm not a teacher and the ending was a nice surprise that made me chuckle. Check it out but leave the fish at home.

Knowing several people in the teaching profession I found it very easy (as I believe a lot of audiences would) to relate to the brilliantly funny (if somewhat exasperated) characters that the writer has created. The piece as a whole brilliantly frames how people in this age feel about education and how it can make those employed in it feel. Couple this with the brilliantly unexpected ending and I think it would make a great festival show.
