Read this for a playwriting contest and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a sweet piece about fertility, one that's clever and moves well.

Arianne I always enjoy reading and learning from your work and "The Ripple Effect" was no different. The emotional rollercoaster of Jeff and Amy and their navigation through trying to conceive. This a topic that you incorporated humor in the poignant realities of fertility challenges. Your dialogue and wit shines through and aloud the realities of Jeff and Amy’s vulnerabilities, hopes, and the strains while keeping a light-hearted tone that humanizes their journey. Your characters are real.

Funny take on a serious topic. The characters are true to life and the dialogue was terrific. This is very actable and has lots of laughs for a ten-minute play. Brava!

I was lucky enough to see this play performed live in Livonia this past February, and boy what a hoot! This play has some fantastic jokes, and the characters are so believable. These are people you want to root for. And while some of these methods may seem unorthodox, this is a very real scenario and I loved every second of this interaction!

A gentle two-hander dealing with love and a wanted child. It's physically funny when discussing what position might bring success. It's also tenderly moving as the couple discover they have to keep up the hope in waiting for a child.

Adorable couple moment trying to be more than just a couple. The struggle to become "a family" is very real and very fun at the same time.

A lovely moment in time is rendered with wit and emotional honesty. A couple's bickering masks anxiety which masks a profound and enduring love. Watching the masks slip away is the heart of this ultimately quite moving comedy.

Arianna's play had me laughing from the get-go all the way through....laughter building up to a beautiful moment shared between a couple who've suffered loss yet are holding out hope. Brava!

Arianna Rose captures this beautiful moment in time as Jeff and Amy wait for the results of their home pregnancy test. I was laughing by the end of the first page and the banter between them continues through the piece. But there's depth to this short play too as we learn more about the couple - their past and their hopes for the future. Simple and incredibly effective. Not surprised it's had so many productions already.
