This is a powerful and haunting piece, and Kane handles it with sensitivity, compassion, and directness. I found it both deeply moving and very disturbing. Kane provides adult eyes to what so many young women have experienced, calling the audience to pay attention to the stories of teenagers and do better. Very well-written.

This play was high-intensity in a low-intensity setting. You know from the beginning that something isn't quite right, and it leaves the audience at the edge of their seat. I thoroughly enjoyed every second, and I am so glad I got to see it at the William Inge Theatre Festival!

I saw this at the 2024 William Inge Festival and it is a powerful, compelling, moving, and terrifying piece that encapsulates in just a few moments the real life terrors so many young dancers face. Beautiful and heartbreaking and yes, even funny at moments, it feels real because it is real to so many. It feels inspiried by the story of Dusty and Mitchell Taylor Button, but it could have been so many others who have been accused and/or found guilty and that's the truly terrifying part. Highly recommended

Kane captures these young ladies' voices brilliantly and paints a heartbreaking picture of power imbalances and threats to their young bodies. I saw a reading of the production at the William Inge Festival, and I'm sure it'll stick with me for a long time.
