I am so excited for everyone who has yet to experience this play and so jealous of all the people who will get to see its many discoveries and twists in full production. This is the theater we all aspire to - unapologetically political, delightfully theatrical, and consistently surprising till the last second. The large ensemble cast is full of depth and nuance - even as the circumstances transform their ideals and philosophy. Chloe never lets a character go uncomplicated, a scene go by without discovery, or an act leave without something to hold onto. Loved every second.

This is a play where nothing happens and everything happens simultaneously through the existential crisis of waiting to be approved for immigration visas. While immigration is often a newsworthy topic, it is rare to encounter a work that provides a true slice-of-life into the challenges of the variety of immigration processes. This play also takes unexpected (yet delightful!) twists and turns that would be a design team's dream to tackle!

This imaginative play spans a wide and expansive variety of times and topics, leaving the audience with lots to think about from a variety of perspectives. I got to see a staged reading hosted by the GPTC New Play Conference, and it was moving and delightful.
