The closing credits of "Car Talk" have nothing on Joe Swenson, whose "Justin Thyme" is a theatrical and laugh-out-loud funny take on the predicament of punny names. The wordplay in this is delicious and the play would be a delight for audiences and actors alike.

How could I not go for a play where every name is it's own brilliant joke in itself? Juan Bad Dude is sublime hilarity. I love wordplay and Joe Swenson excels at it. A series of these plays (I see there are 4 and counting) would not be the worst way to spend an evening at the theater.

Oh don't you just hate it when you get a jobs worth holding you up? Worse if you happen to be a CIA agent. This play is hilarious with some great word play. I can't wait to read the others in this series, I hope Juan Bad Dude makes an appearance! Great fun!

I needed a good laugh and I found this play JUSTIN THYME. The CIA meets the TSA in this hilarious airport security misadventure. And this is just part one! I can’t wait to see what else Joe Swenson has in store!

Wow! fantastic follow through on a wacky and nerve-racking time constraint at the airport. In Joe Swenson’s JUSTIN TIME the puns keep coming and Monty-Pythonesque absurdity soars like a 747. I love the talking-into-the-watch routine best!

You know when you think there can't be more and there is? That's what Joe Swenson's Justin Thyme Part 1 is, a cavalcade of wonderful gags that build on each other! Swenson takes an everyday situation that most people have gone through and amps up the fun with wonderful timing that you can practically hear when reading it. I loved it!

A line for days, an irritating TSA... will our hero make the gate or be too late? This funny little play captures the modern day airport experience and will leave you smiling!

The avalanche of word play in this funny little piece is just an endless treat to read! It had me laughing out loud from the very beginning and I love the way the writer has created a spy story spoof so expertly. I think it would make a brilliant full length piece so we can know the full adventure of Justin Thyme. But for now...I will have to read Part 2.
