Works for casual audiences and those who enjoy social commentary. Great for a comedy evening or short play festival. The insinuation that the others don't like to have Blerg around is an interesting ending. As I interpret it, Blerg's attempt to privatize the pond isn't necessarily greed, but rather a reaction to his exclusion and lack of skills and resources. It's funny and a little sad (in a good way) to think about capitalism as a response to loneliness and inadequacy. Nicely done.
