This is a great new look at the classic three little pigs and the big bad wolf. Marcia Eppich-Harris not only treats us to the comical home life of Big Bad and wife , Queenie, but she also presents a terrific satire of capitalism and corporate greed. This would be so much fun to see on stage!

Very funny alternate look at a popular character. I like the introduction of Queenie. They are the worst and made for each other.

Behind every Big Bad Wolf is a Queenie to support the huffing and puffing and destruction of houses. What a silly-goofy piece! Spoofy, modern, and sweet, "Confessions of the Big Bad Wolf" is a comedy for all the ages. I love me a good fractured fairytale, so I absolutely enjoyed this play.

Ha, Mr Big 'Ethical' Wolf! I love this spin on the big bad wolf as he comes to see the error of his ways. But in all fairy tales, we need the bad guy, the wolf, the antagonist. Will Mr Big Bad listen to his wife and turn things back round. Read this fun play for yourself to find out, it's a real hoot...I mean howl!

They say it's all about reinventing yourself, just like Madonna did and what's good for her should be good enough for Big Bad and his Queenie. I always love these stories that take place after the " . . . . ever after" of the tales we all grew up with and Eppich-Harris provides us with a winner of one.

Marcia Eppich-Harris has written a truly funny look at what might really be going on with the Big Bad Wolf. Is he losing his teeth, so to speak? When the sound of remorse starts coming out instead of a deadly howl, is it time for the wolf to pack it in and blow this fairy tale housing project instead of some piggy houses? Luckily, there's a good woman (or bad female wolf in this case) behind our anti-hero, giving him just what he needs to remain the monster he is. Funny and filled with great dialogue, this is a winner.

I love a good insight into the inner lives of the classic "bad guy," and Confessions of the Big Bad Wolf more than delivers. It provides two strong roles for actors to sink their teeth into, so to speak, and a darkly funny but fun-for-all-ages approach to a familiar story that would be an excellent addition to any fairy tale themed showcase. An excellent read from playwright Marcia Eppich-Harris!

Now this is a treat! An absolute joy to read! Marcia Eppich-Harris brings new life to the big bad wolf and absolutely nails this story on the head! Wonderful read!

Cracks begin to show in a power couple’s relationship when the Big Bad Wolf of fairy tale fame undergoes character development and decides to go against type. A contemporary backstory of property developers begins to emerge with two great roles for actors, encompassing the intensity of a family and business drama alongside pithy dark and magical comedy. With the scope for experimental staging and lighting and still the simplest of sets, this is a thoughtful and layered treat. Including, naturally, an accommodating Happy Ending.

Strangely perhaps, but I always kind of dug the Big Bad Wolf, and Marcia Eppich-Harris has penned a delightful exploration of his softer side. The humor is great from the description of Queenie as Big Bad’s wife, to the Orwellian twist with the Three Little Pigs and final reconciliation between Big Bad and Queenie. I can totally see a whole audience raised on fairy tales howling at CONFESSIONS OF THE BIG BAD WOLF.
