A play about pants that’s really about self-discovery that’s really about pants that’s really about self-discovery after all, this monologue (that maybe isn’t actually a monologue) takes you up and down California and all over bizarre realm of the human psyche. Ultimately it leaves you with the question of whether or not you can be enough for yourself, and though it doesn’t provide an answer, it makes exploring that question a lot of fun.

I loved this short solo play. A play about a person on a quest for great pants. I can see this play done really simply in a black box or with a big budget. There are stage directions in this play that I'd love to see realized. Seemingly impossible stage directions that I'd love to see a design team play with. The writer wants at least 3 actors to play AL and that really excites me. Are all the AL's male-presenting? Do they all lookalike? How are the lines split up? I'd love to direct this and figure out those questions.
