Great message and strong, defined characters. The playwright is clearly "in touch" with the young people of today - as is showcased in the realistic dialogue. A fun and wholesome read!

“Soccertes” is delightful piece of work, well suited for young actors and young audiences but also substantive enough to satisfy adults as well. The dynamics between the characters, the push and pull of wants and the butting of heads among the personalities at the play’s center prove to be compelling and authentic—not to mention hilarious. Bravo to Brandon Urrutia for creating this excellent one act!

a very wholesome approach to theatre for young audiences! Accessible to young performers without infantilizing any of the language. Urrutia's piece shines in its comedy and distinct characters in such a short piece. It would be a real treat for young actors just dipping their toes into theatre and a good message for their peers!
