If Eugene Ionesco was born in the 90s, he would think this is the greatest 10-minute play ever written. Utterly absurd in the best way possible, Proctor has created a universe where there is no real reliability or credibility, but in turn, Proctor has created a play that is full of creativity. With this being an absurd play, it holds a mirror up to the reader, which still has me thinking about how people like this exist. Either way, this play is the bees knees! Hope to see it in a NYC short play festival in the future!

A beautifully bonkers story about friendship, robots, and Taco Bell. Proctor has a zany, irreverent sense of humor that absolutely sings in this fun ten minute sci-fi comedy.

An absurdist sci-fi dive into the weirder corners of internet mass delusions, Erin Proctor’s DOOMSCROOLED. is both creepy and tons of fun, reflecting a world that feels increasingly surreal. Emma’s hobby of researching conspiracy theories becomes significantly less fun when conjecture becomes reality. This wacky 10-minute comedy would be a blast for young actresses and would spice up any short play festival.
