I'm still so struck by how alive and demanding (in the best ways physically, emotionally, vocally) this text is - it's a two-hander but also a FULL WORKOUT for actors. I was never bored, always leaning forward, always so appreciative of how humor lifted us through the play's most painful moments.

  • Ken Weitzman: Dodi & Diana

Sexy, powerful, unsettling exploration of a relationship with meaningful echoes/instrusions from their astrological doubles, Diana and Dodi. A 2-hander that's easy to produce and, as with all Kareem's work, offers his astute insights and skillful storytelling.

This is a gorgeous show that explores history and identity in complex and unexpected ways. Narratives converge and separate as the two lovers of the play are and are not the two lovers of the title, depending on the moment we catch them. It's a modern-day romantic game that calls to mind some of Pinter's best work, but incredibly current and told in a way only Kareem Fahmy could capture.

An exquisite two-hander. A beautiful, bouncy exploration of the mystery and fate of two lovers who desperately want to save their marriage, but the only way to keep it fresh is to face their destiny... for good and bad.

An absolutely stunning two-hander that will prove a delightful challenge for sound and lighting designers. I need to see this produced ASAP!!

  • Nick Malakhow: Dodi & Diana

An intimate, compelling, and compassionately written two hander that looks at the ways people expand and contract in relationships and how those changes disrupt careful equilibria and unearth fissures that people desperately try to seal. Samira and Jason are both multi-dimensional, flawed, funny, loving humans and to see them struggle through this moment in their lives is, at turns, poignant, painful, and humorous. Some deep universal truths about love and partnership are shared here, but they are rendered with such a powerful and distinct eye for the characters' intersectional identities. I'd...
