Rose hits the nail on the head in all ways with this play. By crafting this for young actors and audiences, she acknowledges that they are our future and hope. By making the play wickedly funny, timely, and crafty, she gives her actors ample room to play with their characters while sending an important truth to all audiences. I love that the gods wrap their message in humanity.

I am a huge sucker for plays in which divine entities show off their humanity, flaws and all, and the delightful pantheon at the center of this play has such phenomenal chemistry! There is a fantastic sense of PLAY from page one! It's a hilarious ensemble piece with a serious question at the center. Ultimately, it hands the choices back to the audience, leaving them with - as Hutch suggests - a sense of hope. I know for a fact that actors would have a spectacular time putting this larger-than-life, character-driven short on its feet.

I love short plays with big characters. But this is more than that. It starts out fun and over the top. But the message becomes strong and clear. This should be performed at climate summits! It will certainly get people paying attention!
